Lectors proclaim the Word of God at Sunday and Holyday Liturgies. Lectors should have a clear voice, be able to enunciate and project so as to be heard throughout the church. New Lectors are needed, please call the rectory for more information. Eucharistic Ministers distribute the Body and Blood of Christ. If interested please contact the rectory. The OLGC Ministry consists of the Choir, Resurrection Singers and the Cantors. The Choir sings September through June at the 11:00 Sunday Mass and once a month at the 4:30 Mass. Rehearsals are on Sunday at 9:45 and Mondays at 7:00 before Christmas and Easter. Interested Parishioners are welcome to join the choir for the Christmas and Easter seasons as well. The Resurrection Singers are on call to provide prayerful music for the funerals at OLGC. Cantors proclaim the Responsorial Psalm at Mass and supporting the singing of the Assembly. Please contact the rectory for more information. Hospitality Ministers welcome people as they arrive for Sunday Mass, they distribute books and other materials as needed. Hospitality Ministers are also take up the collection, ensure an orderly traffic flow during communion, and assist in any other arrangements needed.

Members of St. Vincent DePaul respond discreetly to members of the community who have a need for food, housing, or other social services. All information is kept strictly confidential. Don't hesitate to contact the rectory if you are in need or know someone who is. Parish School of Religion meets on Sundays from 9:45-10:45 throughout the school year. All public school students in Grades K-8 should be attending PSR classes. Please contact the Rectory for more information. The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is the process of preparing adults to join the church on Holy Saturday by Professing their Faith and receiving the Sacraments of Initiation. RCIA sessions are held on Wednesdays and Sundays as part of the 11:00 AM Liturgy during the year. Please contact the Rectory for more information. Students in Grade Two of both the day school and PSR are prepared to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation during classes that are on Saturday morning. RCIA for children is designed for young people who are interested in becoming Catholic or who for some reason did not receive Eucharist or Confirmation at the usual time.
